Firecrawl reads a website and hands the content to your AI. Hermes + Firecrawl can read competitor websites, compare offers and find content angles.
How to start
- Sign up at firecrawl.dev and get an API key. The free plan has 1,000 credits a month.
- Add the API key to Hermes as FIRECRAWL_API_KEY (in the Hermes .env file). Hermes already has Firecrawl built in for searching and reading websites.
- Give Hermes the links to the competitor websites you want to compare.
- Ask a clear question. Mine was: "compare these 3 businesses. what does the customer get and how are the offers different?"
- Once you have the angle, then ask it to write. Research first, then cook.
